Meet the Team
The best Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instructors in Central Jersey — technical expertise combined with real-world experience.
Although he began his Martial Arts journey studying Kick Boxing and Hapkido in 2003, it wasn't until he met Professor Josef "Ze Cobra" Manuel in 2005 and started training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu that he found the art and school he could call home.
Since he began training, Henry has reached the rank of Black Belt under Professor Josef and the Robson Moura Nations United Association (RMNU) and has competed in many tournaments throughout the years.
Head instructor Henry Rzemieniewski has also studied Judo, Muay Thai Kickboxing, and Western Boxing — bringing a well-rounded perspective to every class he teaches at Hillsborough BJJ.
Train With Henry
Professor Josef discovered Jiu-Jitsu via Royce Gracie's historic UFC runs. He began his journey in 2001 under Mario Marcio Lemos (a Rickson/Royler Gracie black belt). On February 14th, 2009, he earned his black belt from Master Robson Moura — becoming Moura's historic 1st American Black Belt.
Now a 4th Degree Black Belt, he is the proud founder and leader of the Team Chokelab Association, commanding an elite network of dedicated competitors and coaches.
Professor Josef's specialized tactical expertise is highly sought after by the law enforcement community — he has trained Federal Agents, Local Police, and US Army Soldiers in hand-to-hand combatives, earning Certificates of Achievement in Army Combatives Levels 1 and 2.
His deep knowledge stems from a lifetime of world-class training. In 2004, he traveled to Rio de Janeiro to sharpen his skills and has shared the mats with icons like Master Robson Moura, Royce, Royler, and Renzo Gracie.
